Summer in Park City
In our neighborhoods, summer brings more than sunshine. It brings risk. Because when schools close, so do many sources of structure, support, and connection.
That’s why your support matters now. With your gift, we can meet young people where they are—with mentorship, safe spaces, and programs that interrupt cycles of harm.
Make a one-time gift—or choose monthly to support youth all year long.
We shouldn’t leave anyone behind. Everyone should be accounted for. It should be all hands in. Everyone should have the opportunity to feel safe.

About Summer in Park City
Summer brings higher risks for gun violence and suicide, especially for young people who lose safe spaces when school is out. In Fairfield County, over 1,000 lives have been lost to firearms since 1999. In Bridgeport, 43% of residents say they fear gun violence, and Black residents are more than five times as likely to die by gun homicide than their white neighbors. At the same time, 55% of suicides in CT involved a firearm last year.
Community support has always been our greatest strength. In this critical moment, join us in our life-saving work to support those most at risk and advocate for the resources our communities deserve.
