As the year draws to a close, we find ourselves reflecting on what it truly means to empower people and transform communities.
2025 tested our resilience in ways we couldn’t have predicted. Like many nonprofits, Catalyst CT felt the impact of reduced funding and shifting priorities at every level. Yet, in the face of uncertainty, we adapted. We came together with partners and neighbors to ensure support stuck around when people needed it the most. Because the needs of our communities can’t wait, even if funding does.
Meet Julia
As a high school senior, the future started to feel heavy. College lists, scholarship deadlines, essays, and applications all added to a quiet pressure she carried alone. With your support, a Park City Career Pathways mentor stepped in beside her to breathe calm into the chaos. You opened the door for her to join a STEM workshop and focus group, where she discovered the technology shaping her own community—and a path that finally felt like hers.
